Alera Group exec receives Distinguished Estate Planner award

Deerfield, IL (June 7, 2023) — Alera Group, a top independent, national insurance, wealth services and retirement plan services firm, today announced J.R. Burke, Founding Principal of Perspective Financial Group, an Alera Group company, is the recipient of the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council 2022 Distinguished Estate Planner Award. The annual award honors an individual for outstanding contributions in the field of estate planning.
Burke is an active participant in industry organizations and has led numerous continuing education sessions for financial organizations. He was the financial planning contributing author for the Journal of the American Society of CLU & ChFC and is currently a member of the Million Dollar Round Table. He serves as an Executive Committee member of the Board of the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council and is a past president.
