Sherry McIntosh
Hanover Receptionist
Sherry is the Receptionist at our Hanover location. She greets and assists customers, answers phones, directs customers to agents, and performs various administrative duties. Sherry has been a team member since 2018.
Yvanna Ruano
Personal Lines Account Manager
As a Personal Lines Account Manager, Yvanna helps individuals protect what matters most with tailored home, auto, and personal insurance solutions. She builds relationships, provides guidance, and strives to make the insurance process simple and stress-free.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business – Management and Marketing from Penn State University and began working for Alera Group in 2024.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling to new places, and serving at her church.
Angie Shaffer, CISR
Commercial Lines Account Manager
Angela is a Commercial Lines Account Manager and has been a valued team member since 2001. With more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, she specializes in quoting and servicing commercial accounts. Her favorite part of the job is helping clients save money while ensuring their assets are well protected.
Outside of work, Angela enjoys spending quality time with her husband, daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter. A true animal lover, she also cherishes get-togethers with friends and family.
Karen Shealer
Personal Lines Account Manager
As a Personal Lines Account Manager, Karen writes new business and ensures her customers are with the best company for their needs.
She has been a team member since 2000. Her favorite parts of her job are saving customers money by rewriting their insurance and helping new customers get insurance.
In her free time, Karen enjoys doing outside work and spending time at the beach.

Bell Insurance's normal office hours are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. If you have sustained a loss and need to report a claim during those hours, please call us at (717) 264-7518.
How to File a Claim After Office Hours
In the event of an after-hours claim or emergency, please contact your carrier directly.
