Alera Group Appoints Talicia Bashford as Managing Director of the Midwest Region

Deerfield, IL (March 11, 2025) — Alera Group, a top national insurance and financial services firm, today announced that Talicia Bashford has been appointed as Managing Director of the Midwest region, effective immediately. 

Bashford’s appointment comes at a time of rapid change in the insurance landscape, with increasing demand for more modern solutions and personalized client service. In her new role, Bashford will lead the growth of Alera Group’s capabilities and market share across the Midwest. She will focus on collaboration across offices, regions and practices, and enhance operational efficiency.

Bashford joined Alera Group in 2024 as Mid-Atlantic Property & Casualty Practice Leader. She has over 20 years of leadership experience supporting clients and improving operations with several insurance organizations. Prior to joining Alera Group, Bashford was President of AssuredPartners of Chicago after serving as its Chief Operating Officer, Illinois platform. She will leverage her expertise to navigate the evolving needs of clients and capitalize on emerging market opportunities.
