Across Alera Group, our Financial Services teams continue to raise the bar for retirement plan advisory excellence. In 2026, that work was recognized by two of the industry’s most respected organizations — PLANADVISER and the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA). 

These honors reflect the depth of experience across our teams, the scale of our platform and the impact our advisers have on plan sponsors and participants nationwide.

PLANADVISER Top Retirement Plan Adviser 

PLANADVISER is a leading industry publication focused on the retirement plan advisory community. It provides news, research and recognition programs that highlight best practices and performance across the defined contribution landscape, including its annual Top Retirement Plan Adviser list. 

Craig Stanley was named a 2026 PLANADVISER Top Retirement Plan Adviser, an individual distinction based on quantitative measures such as assets under advisement and plans served. 

This recognition highlights Craig’s consistent performance and client impact, qualities that reflect the broader strength of Alera Group’s retirement plan advisory teams. 

The PLANADVISER Top 100 Retirement Plan Advisers is an annual listing of adviser individuals and teams that stand out in the industry in terms of a series of quantitative measures. Selection based solely on quantitative factors, including plan assets and number of plans, as reported directly by nominees.   

 

About NAPA and the Top DC Advisor Rankings 

The National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA) is a professional association focused exclusively on advancing the retirement plan advisory profession. NAPA provides education, advocacy and industry research to support advisers serving defined contribution plans and their participants. 

Each year, NAPA publishes its Top DC Advisor rankings to highlight firms and teams demonstrating leadership in retirement plan advisory work, based on self reported defined contribution assets under advisement and related industry metrics.

PLANADVISER Top Retirement Plan Advisers Award Disclosure 

The 2026 PLANADVISER Top Retirement Plan Advisers listing contains 316 advisers who stand out for their service of all types of retirement plans. After meeting the minimum plan or asset count, advisers are highlighted if they have what is designated as a special focus in any particular plan type. This means, 91% - 100% of clients that are 401(k) plan sponsors, or 10 or more 403(b), 457, nonqualified, DB, cash balance, SEP, SIMPLE or MEP/PEP plan clients.  Selection based solely on quantitative measures. To be listed, advisers must apply and have to maintain a minimum requirement of 50 plan clients or retirement plan assets under advisement of $400 million or more. The financial professional did not pay a fee for this award nor did they contact their clients about this contest.  There were 457 total applications.
