Alera Group Names Kyle Samuel as Chief Operating Officer

Deerfield, IL (January 6, 2025) — Alera Group, a top independent national insurance and financial services firm, announced today the appointment of Kyle Samuel as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Samuel’s promotion reflects Alera Group’s continued focus on operational excellence and delivering value through seamless client experiences.

Samuel joined Alera Group in March 2024 as Executive Vice President of National Operations, bringing more than 30 years of experience in insurance and risk management. In his new role as COO, Samuel will oversee day-to-day operations across Alera Group’s national footprint, working closely with regional leaders to enhance operational efficiencies, strengthen client relationships and drive sustainable growth.

His career also includes leadership roles at Wells Fargo Insurance Services and Aon, where he developed a strong track record of building teams, delivering client-focused solutions and achieving consistent growth.
