Alera Group Names Latischa Petty as Vice President of Total Rewards

Alera Group, a top independent, national insurance and wealth management firm, has appointed Latischa Petty as Vice President of Total Rewards. Reporting to Debra Martinez, Chief HR Officer at Alera Group, Petty will partner with leadership to ensure that Alera Group’s benefits, compensation and recognition programs are competitive and cost-effective in addition to supporting the company’s overall business strategy.

Petty specializes in guiding organizations through local application of national policies, building strong teams and achieving business goals. In this role, she will further shape Alera Group’s Total Rewards strategy and drive business results. Her expertise lies in developing and administering the annual performance management process, the annual merit program and short-term incentives for employees. She has additional experience with international compensation, salary trends and practices.

“Latischa is a seasoned veteran in the Total Rewards space, with over 19 years of experience in related roles,” said Martinez. “She is adept at thinking globally and acting locally which will serve Alera Group well as she works with individual locations to expand their Total Rewards offerings. Petty joins Alera Group from Indorama, where she served as Manager of Shared Services. Prior to that, Petty worked as the Director of Total Rewards, Benefits and Compensation at Nexeo Solutions.

Petty holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Sam Houston State University. She will be based out of Houston, Texas.
