Perry Braun Appointed as Managing Director of Business Consulting at Alera Group

Alera Group, a top independent, national insurance and wealth services firm, today announced that Perry Braun will join the organization as Managing Director of Business Consulting. In this new role reporting to Alera Group’s Chief Operating Officer, William Corrigan, Braun will counsel Alera Group locations on improving their business performance and profitability through best practices, knowledge sharing, proven growth strategies and enhanced operating efficiencies.

Braun brings more than 35 years of experience in employee benefits and healthcare. He most recently served as Executive Director of Benefit Advisors Network (BAN), a collaborative of independent brokerage firms that employ greater than 3,000 professionals located throughout the United States, Canada and Guam. Braun also previously held the role of Executive Director of the National Benefit Center, the sister organization to Benefit Advisors Network focused on partnerships and product development.

Braun holds an MBA in Finance from Bowling Green State University and a BSBA in International Business and Economics also from Bowling Green State University. He will be based in Illinois.
