David is a retirement plan advisor with Alera Group, providing Plan Service, Employee Education, and Investment consulting to plan sponsors and their employees.  At Alera Group, David’s team builds retirement plan solutions tailored to each client, no two plans are alike, ultimately, meeting employees wherever they are in their financial life.

David is a Senior Partner at Alera Group, joining them in November of 2025 from Legacy Investments, Inc. where he was a Partner at the firm.  David established Legacy Retirement Plan Services, the retirement plan services division of Legacy Investments, which was dedicated to serving Corporate Retirement Plan Sponsors, Investment Committees, and Plan Participants. Prior to that, David was a Regional Director for MetLife Retirement Services. In this role David gained valuable knowledge of the “vendor side” of the retirement plan marketplace. His experience focused on sales, plan pricing, administration, ERISA issues, employee education and investment monitoring. 

David holds the designations of Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor.®  He is a member of the Osaic Retirement Plans Advisory Council and RPAG. His background and membership have led him to engage with top retirement plan professionals across Alera, Osaic, RPAG and the country.  He is an active member of the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA) and the Financial Services Institute (FSI).

With over 33 years of experience of broad financial services industry experience, David has learned what it means to be an Advisor, Educator, Advocate, and Partner for his clients. 

David earned his B.B.A. from The University of North Texas in Finance – Financial Planning and Services. David enjoys spending time with his family; Scottie, Max and Jay.
