Joe is an experienced insurance professional specializing in the construction industry with a strong emphasis on contract surety. He brings more than 40 years of industry expertise, beginning his career as a commercial underwriter with USF&G before spending 40 years as a partner with Trimble Batjer, an Alera Group Company.  

He is known for his deep understanding of construction-related risks, long-standing client relationships, and a steady, consultative approach to helping contractors navigate bonding requirements and complex exposures. Joe holds an undergraduate degree in insurance and Risk Management from the University of Mississippi. Outside the office, he enjoys hunting and fishing.
