Leonard Marler
Risk Management Consultant
Leonard Marler is a Property and Casualty risk advisor born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is a U.S. Navy submarine veteran, having served during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Following his military service, he spent 10 years in the fire protection union trades, working in construction environments running jobs and crews on the Las Vegas Strip and across the valley. He also served in safety-focused roles as a jobsite quality and safety representative, building a strong foundation in risk prevention, compliance, and field operations. He holds OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications and has extensive experience promoting jobsite safety, regulatory compliance, and long-term loss control practices.
He primarily works with contractors, restaurants, and manufacturing clients, using his hands-on construction and safety background to provide practical, real-world risk guidance. His approach focuses on identifying exposures early and implementing proactive safety and loss control strategies that improve long-term performance and help reduce overall insurance costs.
Leonard takes a proactive approach to risk management, leveraging strong carrier relationships to advocate for his clients and structure coverage solutions aligned with operational needs and long-term goals. He is known for providing honest, straightforward assessments of risk and for helping clients make clear, informed decisions.
Outside of work, Leonard enjoys spending time with his family, coaching youth sports, woodworking, and traveling. He is also active in the community through volunteer work with Spread the Word Nevada and The Just One Project.
