COVID-19 has changed the way that people around the globe live and work. As we begin to shift toward recovery, the needs of employees are also changing rapidly. As your team's needs continue to evolve, wellbeing teams and leadership will be key in helping employees acclimate to a new normal. The resources below are a great way to remind us all of how to live well and be well.

  • Share Kindness with ‘Love for the Elderly’ – While physical isolation is so important for our elders right now, they also need love and support.  This organization collects handwritten cards and letters and sends them to elders in senior communities all across the globe.

  • COVID Time Capsule Project for Kids – We are all living through history.  Help your kids with this fun Time Capsule Project for their future self to look back on.

  • How Mindfulness Can Help Kids (and you) During COVID-19 – This piece by the Child Mind Institute provides some simple ways to practice mindfulness with your kids.

  • See Physical Wellbeing for a Family Fitness Class.

  • Office Break Yoga by Yoga With Adriene – Adriene, who hosts her ever-popular YouTube Channel ‘Yoga with Adriene’, offers this quick 14 min yoga routine that can be done right beside your desk to work the kinks out.

  • Understanding Grief in the time of COVID – Julie Wald, CEO of Namaste, and Danielle Mosse, a San Francisco based psychotherapist will lead this informative discussion on Wednesday, May 6th from 5-6 PM.  Danielle is a specialist in anxiety, trauma, grief, and loss.  RSVP HERE.  *’Pay What You Want Wellness’, donation optional

  • If you or someone you care about feels overwhelmed with emotions like sadness, depression or anxiety, or like you want to harm yourself or others call 911.  You can also contact the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) Disaster Distress Helpline at 800-985-5990, the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 800-273-8255 or text MHFA to 741741 to talk to a Crisis Text Line counselor.
