    Courtney Frazier

    Customer Advocate
    Courtney Frazier

    Courtney joined Shirazi benefits in 2021 as a customer advocate assisting both large and small group clients with questions and concerns. After her work as a front desk receptionist / scheduler Courtney has been able to transition into the position of customer advocate with her medical industry knowledge. Courtney lives on a farm in Fort Lupton with her 2 dogs, husband and 6 cows. She spends her free time making greeting cards.

    Nichole joined Shirazi benefits in 2020 as a customer advocate assisting both large and small group clients with questions and concerns.  In addition, Nichole works with all of the Account Executives in updating handouts and notices during their open enrollment.  Nichole has her A.A. degree in business and early childhood.  After her work as a medical biller / scheduler Nichole has been able to transition into the position of claims advisor with her medical industry knowledge. Nichole lives in Greeley with her two daughters who are competitive volleyball players.  She spends her off time hiking and watching her daughters compete in tournaments.

    Marilyn Harvey

    Marilyn Harvey has been in the insurance industry for 25 years. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications from the University of Idaho and is fully licensed in Life and Health.  Her experience in insurance includes working as a Sales Representative at Travelers Insurance, Customer Service Representative at Sedgwick James, Benefits Manager for HMA (TPA), and a Sales Representative for NevedaCare (HMO).  She has been on both side of insurance industry which includes Benefits and Property and Casualty.  She has spent the last 15 years on the broker side working with clients to maintain and help establish benefits programs while building professional relationships.   Marilyn has been happily married for 25 years and has two daughters ages 18 and 15. Her hobbies are watching her girls grow up and playing sports.  She also enjoys spending time with her husband and black lab Bosco who is very spoiled! She joined Shirazi Benefits in 2021 as an Account Executive and will be managing a book of business to help support the agency.  We are excited to have her join our team!

    Medicare Part D Credibility Determinations for Non-Calendar Year Plans

    In 2003, the Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act (MMA) added a voluntary prescription drug benefit to the Medicare program. The benefit, known as Medicare Part D or “Part D,” is an optional program for Medicare beneficiaries to access covered prescription drugs at a lower cost. In 2022, the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) was signed and set into motion changes to Part D benefits, with additional impact on employers in 2024 and 2025.
