With over 40 years in the industry, we have witnessed firsthand common – and not so common – issues.     Christine Muller

    Account Executive
    Christine Muller

    Christine has spent over 20 years in the employee benefits sector.  She started her career in HR at an employer with several thousand employees before transitioning to the carrier side to work for one of the largest healthcare companies in the country for 3 years.  Christine then decided to move to the consultant side where she has spent the last 15+ years working for a few of the largest consulting brokerages in the country before joining the team at Shirazi Benefits.  There are few people in the industry who have the knowledge and background Christine has gained by working in roles such as HR, Insurance Carrier and Consultant.  As the Account Executive, Christine assists Michael and Masoud with the client relationship and is the main point of contact for service issues.

    Leigh Ann Potter

    Leigh Ann contributes over 30 years of accounting experience.   She started her accounting career working in various roles such as Accounting Clerk, Payroll Clerk, Accounts Payable Clerk , and Accounts Receivable Clerk in various industries, including restaurant, health care,  banking, oil and gas drilling and exploration, nursing home, office supply, and finally landing in the insurance industry by joining Shirazi Benefits in May 2000.   Currently, she coordinates all of the accounting functions for the Shirazi office with Alera’s Accounting Department.  She processes all carrier commissions and is responsible for all carrier contracting.  Leigh Ann holds an A.A.S. degree in Accounting, graduating from Aims Community College.  Leigh Ann and her husband, Tom, live in LaSalle, Colorado, with their dog Maggie and cats Fritz, Freckles and Boo.  They enjoy traveling, gardening and spending time with their extended family.

    Autumn DeMusis

    Autumn DeMusis

    Autumn DeMusis has been helping clients understand the intricacies of insurance since 2014. Prior to joining Shirazi Benefits, she held various positions at Kaiser Permanente, becoming a top performer in the Individual and Family Sales division before moving into a claims and customer service-based role.  In 2016 Autumn joined Shirazi Benefits as a Customer Advocate and has since moved into an Account Management role, focused on mid-size groups. She is dedicated to providing excellent client service, and innovative solutions and support to the HR staff that wears many hats within a mid-sized organization.  Autumn graduated magna cum laude from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science. She currently lives in Ft Collins with her husband and two children.

    Brittany Augustine

    Brittany Augustine

    Brittany Augustine began working at Shirazi Benefits in December 2017. Prior to joining our team, she worked as part of the management team in a customer service role. Along with Brittany's excellent customer service skills, she has experience with email design and social media marketing. In previous roles, Brittany had the opportunity to refine her communication and leadership skills, which carry over to her position here at Shirazi.  Brittany has participated in the Alera mentorship program and is a great addition to the Shirazi Benefits team.  Her experience and abilities are highly valuable in her role with our company.   Brittany and her husband Brandon live in Eaton, Colorado with their daughter, Maddie and  their dog, Maya.
