Since 1987 you may have known us as AIA, or American Insurance Administrators, or as one of our three core divisions: AIA Property & Casualty (P&C), Benefits Resource Group (BRG), or as Benefits Broker Solutions (BBS). You may have heard something about us becoming part of Alera Group in 2017. But we are all one company, and now we are aligning our name, our brand, our new look, and our new website to reflect that strong one-company story.

Meet Our Team
Michelle Weishaar, CISR, CIC
Senior Account Manager, Property & Casualty
Michelle provides Senior Account Management service and support to our Middle Market clients. She joined our agency in August 2021 and her primary goal is to provide exceptional customer service to her clients.
She is a seasoned Account Manager with over 25 years of experience in multiple diverse roles prior to joining the team. She has held her CISR (Certified Customer Service Representative) designation for over 20 years and looks forward to obtaining her CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) in the future.
In her spare time, she can be found camping and enjoying the outdoors with her family.
Julie Wolf
Director of Wellbeing
Julie is a part of the DiscoverHealth team in the Employee Benefits division of the Alera Group, Harrisburg office. She has over ten years’ of experience maintaining partnerships and promoting health and wellness services to help clients reduce cost and improve engagement. Julie has a diverse background including government health communications, clinical consulting in the healthcare space, and nutrition solutions. In her current role, she supports clients with their population health strategies and well-being initiatives.
Julie holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Saint Joseph’s University and a master’s degree in Health Promotion Management with a Corporate Wellness focus from American University. Julie is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and has certifications in nutrition education and plant-based nutrition. Outside of work, Julie can be found perusing the aisles at the downtown central market!
Mandy Yerkey
Senior Operations Account Manager
Mandy is Senior Operations Account Manager for the Broker Solutions division. She is responsible for educating our Broker Solution team and our broker partners on carrier processes and guidelines to ensure that all technical and administrative platforms appropriately reflect accurate information. Mandy ensures the on-going training of the division, as well as manages value-added vendor partnerships and communication resources. She is critical to the success of our broker partners and is known to be a trusted and reliable resource.
Prior to joining the the team in 2010, Mandy worked at a local insurance consulting firm where she was responsible for the administrative services area. She supported the insurance carrier relationships and provided high-quality customer service. Mandy is a licensed Life, Accident and Health agent and also has a Paralegal Certificate.
Heather Young
Senior COBRA Plan Administrator
As Senior COBRA Plan Administrator, Heather assists clients with all aspects of COBRA administration to help them remain compliant under the COBRA laws. Joining the team in 2004, she provides support to clients. Heather also provides customer service support to termed individuals regarding the COBRA process, as well as providing training and technical supervision to staff members. Heather is a graduate of Millersville University who enjoys traveling and swimming.

Agencies Push Pause Button on Enforcement of MHPAEA 2024 Final Rule
On May 15, 2025, the Department of Labor, Department of Health and Human Services, and the Treasury Department (collectively, the “Agencies”) released a statement regarding the Agencies’ recent request for abeyance of a lawsuit filed by the ERISA Industry Committee (“ERIC”) in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia that challenged certain aspects of Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA) Final Rule (“2024 Final Rule”) relating to nonquantitative treatment limitation comparative analyses (“NQTL analyses”).
