May 11, 2026
Deerfield, IL – May 11, 2026 — Alera Group, a leading independent national insurance and financial services firm, today announced that Nicole Negvesky has been named Executive Vice President and National Practice Leader for Employee Benefits. Negvesky brings more than 20 years of health and welfare consulting experience to the role and will oversee the firm’s employee benefits strategy, growth objectives, consulting capabilities and team development across all regions.
Negvesky joins Alera Group from The Baldwin Group, where she served as national managing director of employee benefits. In that role, she built a national consulting footprint, established scalable best practices and achieved growth goals across the employee benefits practice. She also built a national team of experts in compliance, data analytics, population health and advocacy, and served as primary lead for employee benefits integration at newly partnered firms.
“Nicole’s deep employee benefits expertise and her proven ability to build collaborative, high-performing teams make her the right leader for this practice at a critical time in our growth,” said Gary Piantedosi, President of Alera Group. “She brings a rare combination of strategic vision, technical knowledge and genuine care for her people and clients. Her appointment strengthens our ability to deliver better outcomes for the businesses we serve and positions our employee benefits practice for continued success.”
In her new position, Negvesky will help shape the employee benefits practice with the goal of maximizing the dissemination and implementation of Alera Group’s specialized solutions and helping employers navigate a benefits landscape shaped by rising healthcare costs, evolving compliance requirements and growing demand for data-driven strategies.
Negvesky holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Washington State University and earned her Group Benefits Disability Specialist (GBDS) designation in 2010. Her expertise has been recognized by Business Insurance’s Top Women in Benefit Advising list and she was previously named Risk & Insurance Power Broker Finalist.
