Gretchen Day, MPH, MCHES, serves as Employee Benefits Practice Leader for Alera Group’s Mid-Atlantic region, where she is responsible for driving regional growth, strengthening client experience and retention, advancing operational excellence, and supporting integration and service consistency across our offices. Gretchen brings deep expertise in unique employee benefits strategies, spanning advanced healthcare strategies, population health management, and workplace wellbeing. She previously served as Vice President of Health Innovation and Advanced Strategies and continues to lead strategic initiatives that help employers improve health outcomes while delivering exceptional benefits. She is passionate about helping employers play a leading role in improving health outcomes while driving sustainable cost management.

Previously, Gretchen served as Vice President of Health Innovation and Advanced Strategies, where she partnered with regional and national teams to develop scalable, outcomes-driven solutions and advance innovation across the Employee Benefits practice. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Delaware and a Master of Public Health from The Pennsylvania State University, with a focus on Health Systems Organization and Policy. Gretchen is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES) and a licensed Pennsylvania Insurance Producer for Life, Accident, and Health.
