Client Support Specialist
Jessica helps support Alera Group clients in a variety of ways, including managing inboxes, setting up new hires, processing resignations/terminations, and working in various portals to get employees enrolled in benefits programs.
Before joining our team, Jessica served as Practice Manager for an animal clinic, where she discovered a knack for human resources that ultimately led her to pursue a more HR-centric job. Jessica also worked for the Department of Defense in South Korea as a Family Readiness Coordinator, spent nearly 10 years at an electrical engineering firm after returning to the U.S., and launched (and later sold) a smoothie bar.
A California native who lives in Tacoma, Washington, Jessica loves history, art, nature, music, movies, traveling, and animals—she has two dogs and one spicy kitty. On the weekends you can find her doing just about anything outdoors, going to see live music, attending sporting events, or playing in her “completely ridiculous” adult kickball league.
