In 1976 Masoud Shirazi started a successful, private insurance and benefits consulting firm. Shirazi & Associates, Inc., now Shirazi Benefits, is headquartered in Greeley with a second office in Fort Collins. Over the years, Masoud has earned a solid reputation of providing quality service to his clientele. Masoud has received several awards for his work and involvement in the insurance industry. Business owners and employers throughout the Front Range have benefited from Masoud’s experience in financial planning and employee benefits.  Having lived in Greeley for more than 45 years, Masoud's commitment to the community is demonstrated through his active philanthropic efforts giving back through serving on the boards of many organizations and active volunteering.  Masoud obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in 1974 and his Master's in Business from the University of Northern Colorado in 1975.  Masoud and his wife, Vonda, reside in Greeley and enjoy spending time with their two sons, daughters in law, grandson and dog Ivy.
