Meet Our Team
Terry Aguilar, CEBS®, GBDS
Employer Services Consultant
A key member of the sales and business development team who builds relationships with prospects and clients, Terry specializes in executive compensation strategies and disability plans for highly compensated individuals. She’s a 35-year veteran of the employee benefits industry and has been providing valuable insights and solutions at Wilson Albers since 1997.
Terry holds the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS®) designation from the International Foundation of Employee Benefits, along with the Group Benefits Disability Specialist (GBDS) certification from the National Underwriter Company. As a long-term member of the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals and a past trustee for the Health Underwriters Political Action Committee, she regularly meets with members of Congress on healthcare issues.
Even though she attended the University of Alaska and has two grown children who graduated from UAA, Terry is a huge Nebraska Cornhuskers fan—she grew up in the state. In her free time, she loves camping, fishing, and exploring with her significant other and their black lab.
Amy Ault
Sr. Account Manager, Employee Benefits
One of the longest-tenured employees on our team, Amy has been with the office since 1989. She is the primary contact for day-to-day client questions and concerns, member advocacy, and claims issues. Amy’s role also involves coordinating and processing requirements for new plan implementation, renewals, and preparation for open enrollment.
Her thorough knowledge and experience are a vital asset for both clients and her team—she says she loves helping employers and their employees with all levels of questions and concerns, from contracting and billing to assistance using the benefit plan. A member of the National Association of Health Underwriters and the organization’s Oregon chapter, she also holds a health and life insurance license. Amy studied at The University of Alaska in Anchorage and Alaska Business College.
Married with two sons and a miniature schnauzer, she likes to get outside whenever she can to walk, hike, and garden. Other hobbies include music, movies, reading, and taking road trips.
Kathy Binkley, RHU®, ChHC®, REBC®
Senior Consultant, Employee Benefits
Kathy spent 15 years in information technology and other roles before she joined the team in 2005—with no insurance background, she learned an entirely new industry and became experienced through countless hours of training and studying. Today, she holds several distinguished designations: Registered Health Underwriter (RHU®), Chartered Healthcare Consultant (ChHC®), and Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC®).
Kathy specializes in serving groups of less than 20, as well as individuals seeking coverage. She also leads a team that supports our preferred accounts, delivering exceptional service and personalized care. It’s the part of her role she enjoys the most—helping people understand and utilize their benefits.
The founder of an animal-rescue nonprofit in North Carolina, Kathy and her husband always have a menagerie of animals at home. While they usually focus on rescuing neonatal kittens, other “guests” have included dogs, rabbits, snakes, rats, and even a tarantula.
Kathy is not registered as an investment advisor representative and cannot offer advisory products or services in that capacity.
