    Damari Bermudez

    Account Manager
    Damari Bermudez

    Damari Bermudez has 30 years of experience in the Health Insurance Industry, beginning her career as a Member Services at Health Plan of Nevada/ Sierra Health and Life. She has been with Alera Group | Las Vegas for the past 4 months and enjoys helping all clients. She thinks outside the box and is a problem solver. Her attention to detail is one of her many strong points. She is quick to respond to all issues and her response time is what set her aside from her competitors. Customer Service is very important to her and wants to make sure all clients are treated with kindness, urgency, and professionalism. Senior Professional Customer Service with over 30years in servicing the insurance claims processing industry, dependable interpersonal skills. Service experience supporting business groups while ensuring outstanding customer service and prompt issue resolution has followed her career. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with developed training and development experience.

    Damari is Bi-Lingual Spanish and English and loves spending time with her family and friends. She loves volunteering at the homeless shelters.

    Received The Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce Ambassador of Cf Courtesy Award in 1998 & 2000.

    Jeff Di Pane

    Jeff Di Pane

    Jeff holds licenses in Property, Casualty, Health, and Life. With a career of over thirty years on Wall Street, Jeff brings a unique skill set to the insurance brokerage business. He is able to understand the needs of a commercial enterprise from the Board room to the daily operations. This also translates into his knowledge of personal lines.

    Jeff is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA).

    Scott Edlin

    Senior Partner
    Scott Edlin

    Scott has over 15 years of industry experience. He serves as Senior Partner at Alera Group Las Vegas and leads the Employee Benefits team.

    Before Alera Group, Scott co-founded ManagedPAY Insurance Services and oversaw day-to-day operations – designing and managing the large group PEO health plan. Before that, Scott was an independent Aflac contractor. Within five years, he was Regional Sales Coordinator of the fourth-largest office in the Pacific Territories.

    Scott earned a B.S. in Business at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

    Deborah Franczak

    Account Executive
    Deborah Franczak

    Deborah has been in the insurance industry for over 41 years. Starting on the company side of the insurance business as a commercial line rater and underwriter. She has been a licensed agent for 33 years. She joined GLB Insurance, an Alera Group Company in 2018 as a commercial account representative. Before Deborah started her insurance career she worked as a cake decorator and in retail sales.

    Medicare Part D Credibility Determinations for Non-Calendar Year Plans

    In 2003, the Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act (MMA) added a voluntary prescription drug benefit to the Medicare program. The benefit, known as Medicare Part D or “Part D,” is an optional program for Medicare beneficiaries to access covered prescription drugs at a lower cost. In 2022, the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) was signed and set into motion changes to Part D benefits, with additional impact on employers in 2024 and 2025.
