    Meet Our Team

    Ryan Gagnon

    Account Executive
    Ryan Gagnon

    Ryans’ responsiveness to his clients is key to his success. He gathers information from new prospects and gets them out to market. He then presents the best option to the insured. Ryan can help with any servicing issues that may arise. He plays a significant role when it comes to his renewals. He will help gather the CSR’s renewal information and then present the renewal bids to his clients.

    Ryan has a strong knowledge base. He holds the designations of Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist, Hartford School of Insurance Specialist, Certified Insurance Services Representative Designation, & Certificate of Achievement from the National Association of Surety Bond Producers. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Southern Oregon in 2009.

    Ryan was previously employed as a contractor that did foundations for two years. Then helped to manage a grocery store for four years before moving to Las Vegas to pursue a career as an insurance producer.

    Ryan is active in the community serving on the board of directors for the Woods and Waters Give Back committee. The committee supports kid clubs that help to foster hunter education, firearm safety, and shooting competitions.

    Ryan met his wife in college in 2006, and they have two children – a daughter (born in Oregon) and a son (Born in Vegas). They live in the Northwest part of the valley after moving to Nevada from Oregon in 2013. Ryan is a huge sports fan who enjoys coaching his sons’ hockey team and loves to hunt and fish.

    Jacque Gibson

    Jacque Gibson

    Jacque is responsible for the daily servicing of commercial insurance policies. This includes creating and managing policy records, issuing certificates, claims management, and accounting. In addition, Jacque assists the producers in their marketing efforts and creation of insurance proposals. She strives to provide a high level of professional service to clients. Jacque has been a licensed agent for over 10 years.

    Jacque participates in a variety of groups that serve the community. She’s worked with a few homeless shelters in Las Vegas and Henderson. She’s donated time to cleaning and sorting books at a local non profit for underprivileged kids. She takes advantage of many to contribute to food and clothing drives.

    Avid reader and participates in the Alera Group Book Club.

    Big fan of hockey and the Vegas Golden Knights.

    Paul Goecke

    Account Executive
    Paul Goecke

    Paul has been working in the insurance industry since 1996 after graduating with a degree in History and Business from Washington State University.  He has acted as both a producer and agency principal over his 25 year career, and has worked with a few of the largest insurance agencies in the nation.  Paul merged his insurance brokerage firm Sundance Insurance Group with Kaercher/Alera in 2006 and hasn’t looked back since.  He specializes in working on construction accounts and worker’s compensation insurance.

     

    Paul is husband and father of 2, he and his family spend the majority of their time in Las Vegas, NV and Park City, UT.

    Correna Goodman

    Correna Goodman joined the firm as a Benefits Account Executive in March of 2012.  She is licensed in Life and health and has over 15 years of experience in the Benefits insurance industry.  She specializes in Group and Individual Health, Dental and Vision Coverage.  Her primary responsibilities include marketing and securing new bids for new and existing accounts and preparing presentation for our group clients.  In addition, she is responsible for managing and providing client services for our Benefit Division.

    Don’t Forget About Your Gag Clause Attestations

    When the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 (CAA) was enacted on December 27, 2020, it included a provision that prohibits group health plans and health insurance carriers from entering into certain agreements that, either directly or indirectly, restrict the release of certain information related to provider networks and de-identified encounter data, among other things. Such restrictions are commonly referred to as “gag clauses.” The CAA also requires plans and carriers to attest annually that their agreements do not include such impermissible gag clauses.
