CBM Insurance is a local, independent agency with over 30 years of experience serving the tri-state area. We offer personalized insurance solutions tailored to our clients' needs and have partnered with over 15 national and regional carriers to provide a wide range of coverage options.
With expertise across various industries—from restaurants and wholesalers to contractors and property managers/owners—we prioritize building strong, personal relationships with our clients. Our team of sales executives, account managers, and service professionals takes a hands-on approach to address coverage inquiries, offer recommendations, and assist with claims. As part of our growth mindset, CBM has expanded its reach through strategic acquisitions. In 2020, we acquired Insurance and Financial Services (IFS), integrating their team and carrier partners. In 2022, we acquired the majority of shares in Business Insurance Services, Inc. (BISI Agency, Wilmington, DE). In 2023, CBM joined Alera Group, a national insurance and financial services firm, expanding our offerings to include employee benefits, property and casualty insurance, retirement planning, and wealth management solutions.

Bill Jeppe
Personal Lines Manager
A graduate of the University of Delaware, Bill has been working in the insurance industry since 2004 and specializes in commercial and personal lines insurance. He is a lifelong Delaware resident and now resides in Wilmington with his wife and two children.

John Davis, CIC
Vice President
Insurance Designation: CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor).
John was educated here in Delaware at Tower Hill School and the University of Delaware and began his insurance career in 1981 with Allen Conner & Prouse. He became a part owner of Agents, Brokers & Consultants (ABC) in 1986, serving as agency operations manager. In 1994, ABC and Insurance & Financial Services, Ltd. (IFS) merged with John continuing to be responsible for agency operations as well as commercial account management. John has been very active with numerous local, regional, and national Agency - Company councils over the years, including serving as the National Chair of CNA Insurance Company’s Agent council in 2001.

Rick LaPenta
Account Executive
Rick has spent 25+ years working in the insurance industry. Before joining the CBM/IFS team, he was a partner in Insurance & Financial Services of DE. Outside of his professional life he has spent many years volunteering in the non-profit community serving on numerous boards, in addition to serving as a member of New Castle County Council from 1984-1988. He is currently a member of the Board of Governors to the Delaware State Chamber and a Board member with the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce.

John Pisauro
Account Executive
A 1997 graduate of the University of Delaware, John began his professional career in the restaurant industry. After several years, an opportunity arose to transition into insurance, and he hasn’t looked back. John was licensed in 2006 and specializes in Commercial Insurance. A native of New Jersey, John has lived in Delaware since 1995. He is married with three children and coaches/volunteers for their sports teams whenever possible. John spent four years managing our commercial lines division and has recently transitioned into a sales management role.

International Roadcheck Is May 13-15. Is Your Commercial Transportation Fleet Ready?
For 72 hours next month, commercial motor vehicles and drivers throughout North America will be subject to what the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) calls a “high-visibility, high-volume” inspection and regulatory compliance enforcement initiative.
