About Us

    Our History

Behling Perry Insurance Agency has been serving clients in the Mountain West for over 50 years. Built on integrity and hard work we have been helping our clientele protect their homes, farms, vehicles, and businesses for close to six decades.

Dennis Spurlock moved back to his native Montana in 2019 and began working in Western Montana eventually establishing a full-service office with many insurance companies that had not been represented in this market and thus bringing more choices to the area.

We currently have over 15 insurance companies to help us write commercial and personal insurance, giving us more flexibility and options to help the residents and business owners of Western Montana and Northern Idaho get the coverage they need for their assets.

Serving clients from the Flathead Vally, Missoula, Cour d’Alene, Sandpoint, Idaho and all areas in between.  We have the national resources and partners to provide for your insurance needs.

We are centrally located in Plains Montana, we are within a comfortable driving distance of our clients. We believe in great service, professional risk management and utilizing technology and our partner relationships to provide multiple options and outstanding customer service.

In 2021 Behling Perry Insurance Agency came together with Alera Group in order to have the necessary resources to continue growing and helping clients in the Mountain West. Since then, Alera Group has grown to become the 11th largest independent insurance and financial services firm in the nation with over 4,000 employees, 180 firms, and thousands of clients across the country.

Alera Group is Western Montana’s choice for Business and Personal Insurance.
