    Danielle Meyer headshot

Dani loves helping businesses connect all the pieces and fill positions with the right candidates. She works closely with our HR leads and clients to execute all aspects of the recruiting cycle, from developing job descriptions and compelling postings to creating questionnaires and conducting screening interviews.

Before joining Alera Group, Dani worked as a Licensed Veterinary Technician for 17 years—assisting with care, providing training, and setting protocols. She also spent 3.5 years recruiting in the industry, hiring over 300 veterinary professionals during a mass exodus prompted in part by the pandemic. Her strong interpersonal and communication skills help ensure exceptional experiences for clients and candidates alike.

Dani lives on the coast of Southwest Washington, about 20 minutes from the Oregon border, and volunteers for the Clatsop County Animal Shelter and Blackberry Bog Farm. When she’s not hiking with her dogs or taking care of her chickens and ducks, she enjoys reading, foraging mushrooms, drawing, and going to the beach.

    Jon Muench, headshot

Jon came to Wilson Albers, an Alera Group Company, in 2020 after spending 30 years building his retirement-plan knowledge at several companies—including his own financial practice, which he managed for more than a decade. He advises fiduciaries on best practices for qualified retirement plans, providing recommendations for effective plan design and revisions, monitoring investment lineups, and even offering education for groups and individuals in the plans. Explaining complex issues and “seeing the lightbulb go on” for clients and participants is one of the things he loves about his role.

Jon’s most recent professional development to increase his industry experience was attaining the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) designation.

The 10th of 11 kids, Jon is a graduate of Simpson College who moved to the Seattle area from Iowa in 1993. He enjoys traveling, hiking in the mountains, exploring state and national parks, and sampling craft beers. He also is continually striving for BBQ perfection and hopes to be certified as a Master Gardener eventually as well. Jon and his wife have a college-age son and a West Highland White Terrier.
