    Michael McCabe, AIF®, CPFA®

    Senior Partner
    Michael McCabe

    Michael is a Senior Partner at Alera Group, joining them in 2025 as the founder and President of Trinity Investment Advisors, an independent consulting firm dedicated to serving Retirement Plan Sponsors and Investment Committees. Before establishing Trinity Advisors Group, Michael worked as an investment fiduciary with a regional consulting and recordkeeping firm, where he served hundreds of plans and thousands of participants.

    Michael holds the designations of Accredited Investment Fiduciary® and Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor®. His background has led him to engage with top congressional leaders on the importance and future of the nation's workplace retirement plans. 

    With over twenty-five years of experience, Michael is an advisor on plan investments, a sought-after speaker at industry conferences, and a frequent participant in advisor panels, including the NAPA 401(k) Summit. He is an active member of the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA).

    Michael earned his B.S. from Villanova University’s School of Business (VSB) and continues to contribute to his alma mater as a member of the Board for the VSB Mentor Program.  He also serves on the Advisory Board of YMCA of Greater Brandywine.  Michael enjoys golf, personal fitness, watching college sports, and traveling with his family.

    Carmela Elco, AIF®, CBFA®

    Carmela Elco

    Carmela Elco is a Principal at Alera Group's West Chester office, where she works closely with plan sponsors to navigate evolving regulations and design retirement plans that are both effective and competitive. With a strong foundation in human resources and investment analytics, Carmela brings a holistic approach to retirement plan consulting.

    Before joining Trinity Advisors Group, an Alera Group Company, Carmela served as a Principal at Cerity Partners, guiding clients through complex retirement plan mergers, developing responsible defined benefit replacement strategies, and overseeing investment monitoring efforts. She began her career at RESOURCES for Retirement, where she progressed from Vice President of Client Services—overseeing investment advisory operations—to President, always driven by a commitment to exceptional client service.

    Carmela holds a Master of Arts in Human Resources Management from St. Francis University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Pittsburgh. She is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®), and a Certified Behavioral Finance Analyst (CBFA).Outside of work, Carmela and her husband Dave enjoy biking through Fairmount Park and spending time with their dog, Fritz.

    Tracey Kirby, CPC, CPFA®

    Tracey Kirby

    Tracey has over twenty-five years of experience in the retirement plans industry, specializing in working with plan sponsors to design and manage their company plans. Prior to joining Trinity Advisors Group, she honed her skills at The Standard, Core States Bank and Vanguard. 

    Tracey holds industry certifications, including the Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) and Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) designations from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA). Additionally, she holds a FINRA Series 65 license. Tracey earned a B.A. in Math/Computer Science and Psychology from Sweet Briar College. 

    Her extensive knowledge and credentials make her an invaluable asset to our team and clients. Outside of work, Tracey enjoys riding horses and sailing, and attending Philadelphia Flyers’ games.
