Alera Group Names Brad Mandacina as Senior Vice President, National Specialty Practices Leader

Deerfield, IL (February 13, 2025) — Alera Group, a top independent national insurance and financial services firm, today announced that Brad Mandacina has joined the organization as Senior Vice President, National Specialty Practices Leader. Mandacina’s appointment reaffirms Alera Group’s commitment to advancing its national capabilities and delivering innovative solutions across its Employee Benefits offerings.
With more than 20 years of experience in the insurance and benefits consulting industry, Mandacina has built a reputation for driving growth, integrating complex operations, and developing high-performing teams. He joins Alera Group after 12 years at Lockton, where he held key leadership roles focused on managing and growing areas of the business with an emphasis on specialty practices.
In his new role, Mandacina will oversee the strategic direction, operational efficiency, and revenue growth of Alera Group’s National Specialty Practices, ensuring alignment with the company’s ambitious goals. Reporting to Sally Prather, Executive Vice President of Employee Benefits, he will also lead efforts to enhance collaboration among Alera Group’s nationwide offices and strengthen relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
