Alera Group Names Jim Blue President

Blue to Focus on Revenue Growth and Integration of New Firms

DEERFIELD, IL — Alera Group, a national employee benefits, property/casualty, risk management and wealth management firm, appointed Jim Blue as President, effective May 1.

As President of the company, Blue’s responsibilities will involve working closely with the existing leadership team to focus on revenue growth and integration of new Alera Group firms. In this role he will develop and execute strategic initiatives with a focus on sales, cross marketing collaboration and carrier relationships.

Formerly the CEO of Marsh & McLennan Agency New England, Blue brings substantial experience to the leadership team of Alera Group. In his previous role, he grew a small, local firm into a national hub for his former employer. This experience positions him as a strong leader for Alera Group, facilitating continued growth for the company.
