Bell Insurance, Inc., an Alera Group Company, is a full-service independent insurance agency, offering a wide array of personal and commercial insurance products. Established in 1987, we serve the insurance needs of more than 9,000 individuals & families and 2,500 businesses.
In 2021, Bell joined Alera Group, an independent, national insurance and financial services firm created through the merger of like-minded, high-performing, entrepreneurial companies across the United States. Alera Group provides us access to resources, technical expertise, and best practices of a larger national firm while maintaining local personal care and thoughtful customer service. Shelly Starliper
Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager
Shelly is a Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager and has been a Bell team member since 1992.
Shelly holds a Paralegal AA degree from Hagerstown Business College. Her favorite part of her job is assisting clients with their insurance questions and needs.
Pam Stull
Chambersburg Receptionist
Pamela is the Receptionist at our Chambersburg office. Her job duties include greeting clients, answering calls, and various administrative duties.
Heather Stevenson
Personal Lines Customer Service
Heather is a Personal Lines Customer Service representative and has been a team member since 2023. She processes policy changes and answers coverage questions. She also assists clients in reporting claims and helps with any issues that may arise during the claims process.
Prior to working at Alera Group, Heather worked in the insurance industry and then as a medical receptionist and an eye center technician. She is thrilled to be back working in the world of insurance.
Heather's favorite part of her job is being part of a great team and helping answer her clients' questions. In her free time, Heather enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and trips to the beach and Penn State football games.
