    Carole Nichols

    Account Executive
    Carole Nichols

    Carole joined GLB Insurance, an Alera Group Company, in 2016 as a commercial account manager. She has over 30 years of experience working in the Las Vegas area. She is responsible for developing sales strategies, liaising with potential customers, nurturing client relationships, promoting agency products, and making sure sales targets are obtained. Carole provides quality customer care which she attributes to long-term relationships with clients and sustained renewals.

    Gina prides herself on her exceptional customer service and strong relationships with everyone she works with. She manages the bond department, and her daily duties include marketing on all prospective and renewal business, gathering sensitive information, negotiating premiums and terms with underwriters, issuance and billing on all bonds, endorsements, and certificates, handling claims, and meeting with clients and underwriters.

    She loves being a part of her client’s success and providing them with bonds that they thought were impossible to obtain. She is passionate about what she does and truly enjoys helping everyone.

    Gina was born and raised in Las Vegas Nevada. She loves spending time with her husband and their three boys. When she isn’t glamping, traveling, and cheering on her kids, she enjoys scrapbooking.

    As the welcoming face and organizational backbone of Alera Group Nevada, I thrive on the dynamic balance between reception and administration. With several years of experience in customer service and administrative support, I bring a unique blend of efficiency, warmth, and attention to detail to every interaction.

    As your receptionist, I take pride in creating a welcoming environment for all who enter our doors, ensuring every guest feels valued and attended to. Whether it's answering calls, scheduling appointments, or providing assistance, I strive to exceed expectations with every interaction.

    In my role as an administrative assistant, I relish the opportunity to streamline processes, manage schedules, and tackle challenges head-on. From coordinating meetings to handling correspondence, I take ownership of the administrative tasks that keep our office running smoothly, allowing our team to focus on what they do best.

    I am committed to delivering excellence in both reception and administration, serving as a reliable point of contact and a trusted support system for our team and clients alike. I look forward to welcoming you to Alera Group and ensuring your experience is nothing short of exceptional.

    Account Manager
    Lindsey O’Harrow

    Lindsey O’Harrow is a Commercial Lines Account Executive with 15 years’ experience, specializing in Commercial Property and Casualty Insurance. While she handles a wide variety of clients, her main focus has been in Construction and Pest Control. Her day-to-day duties include marketing prospective and renewal business and negotiating contract terms and premiums with underwriters on behalf of the client, creating and maintaining policy records, preparing and presenting proposals, issuing certificates of insurance, updating policy information, claims and invoicing.

    Lindsey prides herself on maintaining favorable and professional relationships with customers, co-workers, and insurance company representatives by being a strong team player and always showing willingness to help all reach their stated goals. Lindsey has been awarded Outstanding Customer Service Representative for the State of Nevada and holds the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) and Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designations.

    Are You Prepared to Comply With the New Mental Health Parity Final Rule in 2025?

    On September 9, 2024, the DOL, IRS and HHS released a final rule for the Requirements Related to the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA Final Rule). The MHPAEA Final Rule is similar to the proposed rule released on July 25, 2023, with some marked differences. While the MHPAEA Final Rule is effective as of November 22, 2024, the requirements become enforceable at different times. Most apply to plan years beginning on or after January 1, 2025, with other requirements becoming enforceable for plan years beginning on or after January 1, 2026.

    Legal Alert: IRS Adjusts Health Flexible Spending Account and Other Benefit Limits for 2025

    On October 22, 2024, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) released Revenue Procedure 2024-40, which increases the health flexible spending account (FSA) salary reduction contribution limit to $3,300 for plan years beginning in 2025, an increase of $100 from 2024.
