    Since 1938, Zinn Insurance has proudly served the community with trusted insurance solutions with a focus on building lasting relationships and delivering a positive, personalized client experience. Our team works diligently to make buying insurance simple, supportive, and tailored to each client's unique needs, ensuring peace of mind, while saving time and frustration.

    In 2017, Zinn joined other like-minded, entrepreneurial firms to form Alera Group to blend the personalized service and history of our local firm with the national resources of a larger organization. 

    In 2024, we officially began embracing the Alera Group brand. What remains consistent is holding our clients and community at the core of our business; we focus on bringing personalized solutions, expanding our capabilities, and deepening our resources nationally.

    Megan Reedy

    Commercial Account Manager

    Megan is a valued addition to our Commercial Service Team, having joined the team in 2022. She is a Licensed Agent and always provides her clients with a high level of care and diligent service.

    Megan comes to us with over three years’ experience in the industry and has proven that she can handle any task with the highest level of grace and attention to detail.

    Megan resides in Lebanon County with her son Holden, dog Navi and cat Charlie. She has a true passion for the outdoors and loves spending time with family. Megan is an avid reader and enjoys cooking; Italian cuisine is her personal favorite!

    The best fun fact about Megan is thanks to her son, she is a professional toy dinosaur fighter and Lightning McQueen racer!

    Corey Shaud

    Director of Personal Insurance

    Corey is a licensed agent who is the Team Lead for the Personal Lines Team and also a member of the Leadership Team in the Lebanon office.  Corey has more than 17 years of experience in the marketing and design field, where he helped clients achieve success for their businesses.

    Outside of the office, Corey enjoys baseball and is actively involved with coaching at the 12U travel level, as well as playing in the local softball league at Heisey Field. He currently resides in the Myerstown area with his wife of 17 years and 3 children, 2 boys, and 1 girl, all of which have attended the ELCO School District.

    Donna Jones, CISR

    Donna is a licensed agent and member of the Personal Lines Team with more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. In 2016, Donna earned the professional designation Certified Insurance Services Representative (CISR) and uses her knowledge and extensive business background to serve her clients’ needs promptly and efficiently. With her professionalism and warm spirit, she is a great addition to the team.

    Outside the office, Donna enjoys cooking and creating recipes. She is a baker who loves to decorate her delicious cakes and cupcakes. Donna is involved in several ministries at her home church, Calvary Chapel, Lebanon. Coming from a big family, she juggles her time between close family, her two children and grandchildren, church family, and ministry.  Her grandkids keep her young at heart fishing at the lake, enjoying the outdoors and cookin’ in grandma’s kitchen.

    Joni Meck

    Accounting & Administration Director

    Joni is the Administration and Financial Director and a member of the Lebanon office leadership team with more than 20 years of experience in both administrative support and finance. She is attentive to the needs of others and strives to maintain a high standard of accuracy.

    Joni lives in Annville and attends LCBC Church Manheim Campus, where she is actively involved in a life group. Her hobbies include refinishing furniture, craft projects, home decorating and gathering endless ideas from DIY Network, HGTV and Pinterest. Her greatest enjoyment, however, comes from the time that she spends with her beautiful grandson and granddaughter.

    Agencies Push Pause Button on Enforcement of MHPAEA 2024 Final Rule

    On May 15, 2025, the Department of Labor, Department of Health and Human Services, and the Treasury Department (collectively, the “Agencies”) released a statement regarding the Agencies’ recent request for abeyance of a lawsuit filed by the ERISA Industry Committee (“ERIC”) in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia that challenged certain aspects of Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA) Final Rule (“2024 Final Rule”) relating to nonquantitative treatment limitation comparative analyses (“NQTL analyses”).
