Since 1938, Zinn Insurance has proudly served the community with trusted insurance solutions with a focus on building lasting relationships and delivering a positive, personalized client experience. Our team works diligently to make buying insurance simple, supportive, and tailored to each client's unique needs, ensuring peace of mind, while saving time and frustration.
In 2017, Zinn joined other like-minded, entrepreneurial firms to form Alera Group to blend the personalized service and history of our local firm with the national resources of a larger organization.
In 2024, we officially began embracing the Alera Group brand. What remains consistent is holding our clients and community at the core of our business; we focus on bringing personalized solutions, expanding our capabilities, and deepening our resources nationally.

Meet Our Team
Daphne Krause
Reception & Administration
Daphne works in Reception and Administration where she is our client concierge and a big support to our team and operations. Daphne is new to the insurance world and is looking forward to stepping into this role and supporting the community with their insurance needs.
Daphne resides in Newmanstown with her fiancé, Connor, their two dogs Ace and Max, and cat, Bella. She enjoys relaxing with her pets, baking, and traveling. She especially enjoys her yearly vacations to Tennessee. Her greatest enjoyment is spending time with her fiancé, pets, and family.

Shannon Wilson
Personal Client Agent
Shannon joined our team in 2018 and is a licensed agent and member of our Business Client Service team. Before joining ZINN/Alera Group, Shannon was an underwriter with a national Insurance company.
Shannon resides in Myerstown with her family and is active in the community. When she is not busy with work and family, Shannon enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends.

Amy Wise
Reception & Administration
Amy works in Reception and Administration supporting the Lebanon office! Amy graduated from Penn State Harrisburg in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies. Amy has worked in human services since graduating and is now looking forward to supporting the community with their insurance needs.
Amy lives in Lebanon County where she has served on the Salvation Army Board and the Chamber of Commerce Farm-City Committee. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, snowmobiling, and taking trips down to Ocean City, New Jersey!

Agencies Push Pause Button on Enforcement of MHPAEA 2024 Final Rule
On May 15, 2025, the Department of Labor, Department of Health and Human Services, and the Treasury Department (collectively, the “Agencies”) released a statement regarding the Agencies’ recent request for abeyance of a lawsuit filed by the ERISA Industry Committee (“ERIC”) in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia that challenged certain aspects of Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA) Final Rule (“2024 Final Rule”) relating to nonquantitative treatment limitation comparative analyses (“NQTL analyses”).
