    Originally established in San Angelo in 1883, Trimble‑Batjer has supported generations of clients through changing economic conditions and an increasingly complex insurance environment, earning a reputation for service, expertise, and reliability.

    Now operating as Alera Group, the San Angelo office continues this legacy while offering clients access to expanded resources and a collaborative approach to risk management. The team specializes in commercial insurance, surety and bonding, and risk management services, working closely with clients to understand their exposures, manage insurance costs, and provide strategic guidance throughout the insurance lifecycle.

    Donna Whittenburg

    Marketing and Operations Manager
    Donna Whittenburg

    Donna brings nearly four decades of experience in the insurance industry, specializing in commercial lines marketing and operational support. She partners closely with producers and service teams to strengthen new business efforts, streamline renewals, and support strategic marketing initiatives, drawing on a career spent mastering nearly every role within an agency.  

    She is known for her deep industry knowledge, her commitment to professional development, and her leadership within AppliedNet, where she has served as a State Chapter President, Alliance Leader, and member of the Education Committee. Donna attended Angelo State University.  

    Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, attending musicals and plays, and cheering on her favorite football teams. Family time is especially important to her, and she loves traveling with her daughter and cooking Sunday dinners for her son.
